What was this dark occurrence?

Mann I'm tell'n ya, it was just one of those things. I was experiencing this dark place. I arrived there through an even darker corridor. So here I stand dark all around me and I find this chair. Somehow I felt compelled to sit down. I hears some whispers and noticed these darker figures all around me. After a while and feeling an aire of anticipation, this beam of light shot ped me. Then this white light appeared before me and took on visions which showed me things. I don't remember everything but I saw land mes breaking up and volcanic lava spewing. I'm thinking, "So this is 2012!" when the vision disappeared I was going back through the dark corridor to this brightly lit place. Well I was so full of chills and goose bumps it left me in aw. Then there I saw clouds and wonderful sunlight which left me thinking deep thought. I have my own explanation but some of you may have a better explanation. your welcome to interpret what this was all about.
