Would highway noise deter you from buying an otherwise perfect house?

My husband and I found a house that we just love! It is perfect for us for the next few years. The price is right; it is in move-in condition; it has all the features we want in a home. The problem is that it backs up to a busy highway. There are woods between the house and the highway, so you can't see it (at least now, in the summer, when there are leaves on the trees). We don't think that the noise will bother us... but we are nervous that we won't be able to sell the house when it comes time to do so. What are your opinions?
