How do you tell pregnancy symptoms from pms?

i figure most of you will say take a test but im hoping somebody can give advice from personal experience i have a lower back ache and never experienced it before kind of a shooting down my backside sometimes. normally before my period i get tender but this time it is sore all over my whole brest when i push on them how can i tell the difference between
