When i load and start playing quake 3 why does it freez on me iz ther a patch or crak i can use or somth

It's hard to really help you without knowing what operating system your trying to play the game on and what your computers hardware specs are. What I can tell you is to go online and look for any patch's released by the developer idsoftware. These patch's fix tons of bugs and theres a good chance one of them will solve your problem.
