Bands like... Sonic Syndicate and In Flames?

Ok well I know the obvious ones like Machine Head, Korn, Godsmack, Dragonforce, DevilDriver etc. I'm looking for more obscure bands... like Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Spineshank and Scar Symmetry... Hope you can help! If you wanna just recommend some good alternative heavy metal bands (preferably new) that are similar to the bands mentioned then that would be equally good. The newer the better as I love finding out new music :) Thanks!!
