Am i right to insist that my wife eats alone ?

When i dine,I usually like to sit alone in the banquet hall with various staff in attendance to look after the wine and various courses.I do not enjoy company(except for the maids) and so i always insist that my wife eats in the kitchen and usually just basic meals.I do allow her into the banquet hall on birthdays.etc, and have the full repaste such as lobster tart and venison (I do love some tarts). Now,however she is tierd of this arrangement.Can i guage some opinion on my attitude to meal times,so i can show her your answers and therefore,state my case ?
