My family doesnt like my bf. should i follow my heart and choose him?

i am a married woman for 6 yrs yet without a kid and was separated with my husband for a year now.. i met my bf and present him with my family at first they accepted him but after 5 months of our relationship suddenly my family changed their treatment on him. my mom said they don't like him bec they knew from others that he's not rich. although he did not telling that he's rich or not..well for me it doesn't matter coz i loved him so much until this time this is our problem my family wanted me to get rid away from him or else they will kick me out of the house and go with him but ive a work and i love my work which is near at our house. my bf's house is very far it took 9 hours travel. should i follow my heart and turn away from my family? they wanted me to marry a foreigner yes i had a chatmate but i ignore their proposal bec of my bf.
